2009 MICRO MANIA SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
11:00 AM - Food Stand Opens (No Breakfast)
2:00 PM - Gates Open
4:00 PM - Driver's Meeting
4:15 PM - Pill Draw Ends
5:00 PM - 125 / 4 Stroke Warm-ups (in heat order); 600 Warm-ups (in heat order)
6:00 PM - Racing
RUNNING ORDER:
- 600 Heats Round #1 (12 laps)
- 125 / 4 Stroke Heats (10 laps)
- 600 Heats Round #2 (12 laps)
- 125 / 4 Stroke B-Main (10 laps) - if necessary
- 600 C-Main (15 laps) - Top 6 Qualify to the rear of B-Main
- Intermission
- 600 B-Main (20 laps) - Top 6 Qualify to the rear of A-Main
- 10 minute break
- 600 A-Main (50 laps) - Fuel stop at 1st caution between lap 20 and lap 30
- 125 / 4 Stroke A-Main (25 laps)
- 600 Speedweek Awards Ceremony
600 - DOUBLE HEAT FORMAT:
- Starting line-up for 1st round of heats will be determined by pill pull
- Starting line-up for 2nd round of heats will be an inversion of the starting line-up from the 1st round
- Driver's will earn finishing and passing points for each round of heat races
- Total points after the two rounds will determine starting line-ups for A, B and C-Mains (Positions 1-20 to A-Main; 21-38 to B-Main; 39-62 to C-Main)
125 / 4 STROKE RACE FORMAT:
- Heat race line-ups will be based on pill pull
- 3 heats - top 6 qualify to A-Main, remainder to B-Main
- B-Main - top 6 qualify to A-Main
- A-Main - winner of heat #1 will draw for inversion
(there will be a "0", a "12"and two "6" pills)
